Head accountant

Description

You will be responsible for organizing accounting activities in general
You will be responsible for the correct preparation of accounting statements and declarations required for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, in accordance with applicable legislation and deadlines
You will be responsible for the correct reconciliation of all accounting accounts, you will check sales and purchase journals, and you will prepare the trial balance
You will coordinate the recording and tracking of third parties
You will monitor accounts and reconcile financial and banking operations
You will coordinate inventory
You will coordinate the recording and reconciliation of salaries and related taxes and contributions
You will prepare the reports requested by the company’s management

Higher education in economics
At least five years of experience in finance and accounting
Knowledge and experience regarding legal requirements in the field; CECCAR certification is an advantage
PC skills (good knowledge of EXCEL)
Attention to detail and accuracy in recording operations
Organizational and communication skills
Punctuality, reliability, and responsibility
Experience in international freight transport is an advantage
